    ich würd sagen, einfach coolen freundeskreis mit nicem geschmack suchen und auf den rest scheissen oder abhaten, beides super! aber ja, du hast recht, zu selten, allerdings ist das nicht nur in deutschland, sondern in ganz babylonien so... ich muss sagen, die skins-gruppe ist schon sehr alt und ich guck das gar nicht mehr und hab den großteil wieder vergessen und der blöde hype hat mich dann irgendwann auch gernervt, sorry dafür, aber vielleicht sind wir immerhin ein bisschen seelenverwandt :)

    lets be honest, mostly, when someone become popular its because of style change, or his gonna change the style because of external pressure or trends. thats exactly what happened to dubstep in general. thats exactly what happened to many artists which started as an underground producers - skream, benga, rusko, james blake, chase & status just to name a few. but im okay with many examples when someone become popular but stayed in the same vibes, burial is the best example here.
