Yeah, it got boring and too much of the same. But i still think it has been a good year in music, and we still have several albums coming up. Yepp jhene kinda lost it, but the songs are nice overall, MESS at her releasing her top notch material on an ep and keeping the mixtape sounding material for the album. Legend ware's new stuff is lowkey underwhelming too :/

It seems he's been out for quite a while. I think many of the album tracks are on his SoundCloud already. I better go check that out! https://soundcloud.com/claudespeeed

Oh yes. The albums do flow very well, but they have their high points too. Now that you bring it up, it kind of does sounds like those songs, reminds me of "Swim" too. "Dayvan Cowboy" is obviously more cathartic.

Knights** 'Tomorrow's Harvest' was beautiful last year, but the rest of their discography is so light and optimistic. I had heard 'Geogaddi' was dark, but only a few tracks (like the spooky-as-fuck "The Devil Is In The Details") fit that norm, it's very interesting and mysterious indeed. I'm really loving "Peacock Tail" and "Dayvan Cowboy" from TCH, hopefully their upcoming albums feature more post-rock.

If producers want to, techno and breakbeat can convey positive or vibrant emotion. One guy (of whom I've talked to you lots) is an expert at that: Andrew Bayer. His latest album 'If It Were You, We'd Never Leave' is gorgeous. Jon Hopkins as well (this one isn't really emotional but it slays so much: http://youtu.be/8XtqUOegCv8).

I just read that TEDM guide and damn that dude is ruthless. Completely confirmed my belief of trance being of the most scrutinized dance music styles out there. lmao. That Ferry track is amazing. Reminded me of another favorite of mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zSCTIsjDzM

Those crazy times with Eiffel 65, Aqua, ATC, Ian Van Dahl, Alice DeeJay, Darude and Safri Duo were really cool. I wish I had been Dutch during those days.

I haven't even bothered with Spotify since I got kicked out last year. xD I have yet to listen to more BoC other than 'Tomorrow's Harvest'. I see you've played 'Who Needs Guitars Anyway?', been meaning to check that out since I found the iconic "Better Off Alone" 10 years ago, lmfao.

Yeah, ''Do What U Want'' is a masterpiece and I can't wait for ''Venus'' too. We've been waiting for so long and I still can't believe that ''ARTPOP'' era is already here. Paws up!

I don't know if you've heard Oneohtrix Point Never's 'S Plus Seven' or Four Tet's 'Beautiful Rewind', but those are amazing albums.

He mostly leans to soundscape, even though his sets are pretty varied, they're always stimulating and calming. The last half is mostly his tracks which you can free DL in .WAV on that SC. If by "Annie Lennox & Sade" you mean adult contemporary that sounds like sung and played by angels then yes! I found that sophisti-pop genre/movement their first two albums are a part of very interesting.

That mix you put on my shoutbox two months ago is heavenly. Just finished listening to it. I'm currently listening to this (https://soundcloud.com/rjsfoundsounds/r-j-stefanski-live) a bit more shaky, but his SC is full of lovely music mixes, many of them ambient. Also, get into The Blue Nile, they make some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard.

You better finish it! :P I was a bit confused, yet impressed, when I first listened to it; trying to take it all in. On the second listen I completely fell for it. And PSB's 'Electric' is pretty cool. Stuart Price can do no wrong. "Shouting In The Evening" sounds a bit ARTPOP. :eli: I'm not very knowledgeable about their albums, but judging from singles 'Actually', 'Behaviour' and 'Please' must be really good albums as a whole. I've checked out a bit of 'Introspective' because "Left to My Own Devices" and "It's Alright" are so so great, but the album versions are a bit of a turn off.

Thanks! :) I'll spin that right after the new Pet Shop Boys! Mess at you not finishing Loveless. :lipton: "Blown a Wish", "To Here Knows When" and "Soon" are right up your alley.
