yeah, cudi's unique in that way. you should check out theophilus london's "this charming mixtape", he uses melody in the same way. "hum drum, " "always love u," "grey x sage" (which samples "sabali" by amadou and mariam) are good tracks to check out.

Oh yeah, east town is nice. I go there for breakfast all the time. I'm moving downtown next year and Heritage Hill/the East town area are places I'm looking at. But yeah, Man on the Moon is pretty good. It took me a little time to like it. I loved his mix tapes, and thought the single with mgmt and ratatat was great, but couldn't get into the album right away. I love it now :) I'm going to see him in January so I'm pretty stoked.
