What can I say…I like it more than I thought I would. It started with Nightwish a year ago and now I find myself looking for bands with a similar sound to them like Evanesence and Leaves Eyes. Before any purists curl their lips at me…I have pretty specific tastes when it comes to metal, especially having friends who are die hard slayer style metal fans. The vocal goth (and i hate that word) style that the afore metnioned bands have struck a chord with me. If you have any decent suggestions that last.fm isnt providing..drop me a comment.
