Well if you are going in the technical death metal direction, you are sure to love Atheist. Unquestionable Presence and Elements are definitely two of the greatest albums of the genre.

Hey, thanks for commenting on the Opeth thread! I also see Dream Theater is your top artist overall. I contemplated them while I wrote the thread. I've only heard good things about them, but sadly I still have not listened to them. Hoping to do that soon. Thanks again.
