A mate and I caught Killing Heidi the other night at Penrith R.S.L. club. It was just Ella (with straight blonde hair) and Jesse doing their acoustic thing.

This sort of small and intimate show really shows an artist's true quality, and Ella shines. She has such a great unique voice and is a great performer.

They performed a mix of old stuff and new. The fresh stuff was written during the winter so "if they're kinda mellow, than that's because we wrote a lot of them by the fire at home." she said.

Tracks like I Am and Heavensent were excellent. Ella even played the guitar for one of the new songs.
