    That is so awesome. I wish I had a history to speak of! I've only seen them for my first time most recently, at Bonnaroo. I went primarily because that was the only other show they were playing in the US this summer aside from at Red Rocks, which I couldn't make. Their main set at Bonnaroo is my favorite live "major" act show that I've ever seen. It was wonderful, totally engaging and propelled by the fact that no one else comes close, or even attempts, to do what they are doing.

    I am great man, thank you. Deer Tick was fantastic, lots of booze on stage! The opening band Fancy Trash was a lot better than I expected also. Very intense performances. You should give them a listenin' to; Fancy Trash

Influences such as; The Who, Interpol, Oasis , MGMT , Black Flag, Death From Above 1979 and Radiohead have played major roles in shaping the band’s musical direction and attitude.

With a reverence for musical styles and cult-classical artistic themes that have defined a generation, “the mint hotel” emphatically reminds its audience of where rock has been, while quite seriously challenging where it might go. the mint hotel serves to highlight the band's sophisticated lyrical content, texture and musical delivery. Known for unforgettable live shows and electrifying stage presence, the Swillmerchants are a band that reminds everyone that music is supposed to be FUN.
