On occasion, there may appear to be anomalies in the space/time continuum of my charts. I assure you, this is simply a matter of "scrobble shifting." I sometimes will sync my iPod after listening to Last.fm/Pandora streams. If I have not listened to at least 10 tracks on my iPod since my last sync, you may see items in my recent tracks list that appear to have been scrobbled after items that have a later play time. Sorry, but no, sadly, I am most certainly not a time traveler. ;)

I see the word 'Eclectic' thrown around a lot on Last.fm.

Unfortunately, it seems that many people use this word because they think it brings them elitism, and quite frankly, it also seems that these people don't understand the meaning of the word.

A lot of these people listen to only those artists that they think will make others perceive their music as eclectic.

The funny thing is, many of these people all listen to the same stuff!

Yeah, I get it, you're eclectic. You're not mainstream.

I've read about the differences between how Last.fm and Pandora relate music. Last.fm has more streamable artists, and is a lot bigger, but Pandora is a much better finely tuned system.

However, I'm not about to give up Last.fm… I'm too addicted.

Then I started thinking, "If only there were a way to stream music from Pandora, which also scrobbles to last.fm."

I started searching all over the Pandora website, because I was sure that I have heard whispers of this capability in various dark alleys. ;)

With the assistance of my good friend, Google, I discovered PandoraJam, which does…

I can choose to love tracks. I can choose to make a friend. I can choose to join groups. I can even follow a conversation via the reply tracker.

Why can't I love a station? I'm tired of not being able to do this.

Until this feature becomes available, I'm going to use this entry to record a memo of those stations that I have listened to, and enjoyed. :)
