"Rounding out the musical portion of the evening sometime around midnight was The Digs, and I felt god-damned ashamed of all the idiots that just had to rush off to bed and couldn’t stick around for the last act ... Top to bottom, The Digs are a professional act with Psychedelic, old-school country, folk and all around Americana roots. They gave us a flawless set and ended with something like a southern rock acid jam that lasted for several minutes, and sent bass guitarist Scott, one of the best bass guitarists the City of Los Angeles has ever turned out, atop his bass amp showing off what one can do with an intellectual insight into music theory and the soul of an artist — and finally compelling him to prod at the acoustic tiled ceiling with his guitar at the close.
