1. What are you listening to right now?
Armageddon - Against Me!

2. What song makes you sad?
Because of the association they have with a very dark time for me, these are both almost unlistenable:
Don't Know Why - Saves the Day
Oh Well, Okay - Elliott Smith

3. What is the most annoying song in the world?
Effing Numa Numa?

4. Your all time favourite band?
Musician will always be Elliott Smith, but band is certainly Against Me!

5. Your newly discovered band is?
I suppose the most recent would be Liam and Me. Good stuff.

6. Best female voice?
I'm not big on female artists, for the most part. I guess Jenny Lewis or Feist.

7. Best male voice?
Jeff Buckley. Or Cedric Bixler.

8. Music types you find yourself listening to most?
Do people actually label music nowadays?

9. What do you listen to, to hype you up?
Pints of Guinness Make You Strong - Against Me!, for sure.

10. What do you listen to when you want to calm down?
Sigur Ros, The Album Leaf, or Brian Eno.

11. Last gig/concert you went to?
Saints and Sinners for Saves the Day and Against Me! Got to hang out with the latter afterwards, and got on the guest list for the Philly show! Unlimited excitement.

12. Band you find yourself listening to the most right now.
Redundancy: Against Me!

13. Most hated band?
I've always referred to Nickelback as my musical nemesis.

Every song?

15. Band that you think the world should love as much as you do?
Copeland. Those guys do not get nearly enough credit for their recent productions.

16. Coolest music video?
Otherside - Red Hot Chili Peppers. And I will fight that one into the ground.

17. Music video with the most babe watch?
As a straight female, I don't generally notice such things. Nor would I ever refer to a guy as a 'babe'.

18. What do you play/would you play in the bedroom to spice things up?
I'm sure something like Staralfur - Sigur Ros would make for a poignant experience.

19. Can you play a musical instrument?
Guitar is the only thing I've been taught, but I can handle keys and drums pretty well. Oh, and the voicebox.

20. Ever been in a mosh pit?
Hah, more often than not.

21. Are you in a band?
Three, technically.

Nope.

28. Do you wish yourself that you were a musician?
A better one, of course. Aspiring for a more refined talent is the life.

Le Tigre.

On CD was Kings on the Main - Thrice. And radio? Hmm. Good question. Some sort of classic rock.

32. What do you think of Classical music?
Absolutely lovely.

33. What do you think of Country music?
Most modern country is intolerable, but the classics can be good.

34. What do you think of Death metal?
The overwhelming majority is trash.

35. Last BIG band that you saw live?
Like, very big? Probably Coldplay.

36. Are you a groupie?
If my mom calls me one time, I will tell her in graphic detail what the current interpretation of that word connotates.

37. Do you listen to music in foreign languages?
Oh, I certainly do. The power of music transcends such barriers.

Hmm, that's pretty vain.

39. Worst concert moment?
Having a crowdsurfer dropped on my head while seeing Every Time I Die? No. Sitting through about 2,287 bad metal bands at almost every festival I go to.

40. Funny concert moment?
Conor rambling about Pancake Mountain at Bright Eyes a while back? I still love Dustin's "This place looks… like spaceship," from Thrice in '04.

41. Saddest concert moment?
Probably the only sad show moment I can think of would be seeing Ripchord - Rilo Kiley.

42. Best local act you can think of?
The Parlor Mob.

43. If you were a musical instrument what would you be?
Probably a slightly worn guitar or a flute.

Not often in the least.

Is there such a thing anymore?

I check up on the sales of the bands I like, just to know.

Depending on your interpretation of famous, I guess. Andrew McMahon of Jack's Mannequin, Against Me!, Every Time I Die. Possibly Bright Eyes in a few weeks.

A few.

49. Song that best describes your feelings right now?
We Did It All for Don - Against Me! And also 6 to 8 - AFI.

I have a whole slew of songs tagged that relay this matter!

Somehow, yes. Hahah.

52. Does a musician's physical attractiveness play a role in the music that you listen to?
I rarely ever know what a musician looks like before I hear them.

53. What famous musician do you want to marry?
I'd say that would be an extremely naive thing to buy into. You can't really tell just exactly how a person works by their songs or stage presence. C'mon, at least get to know them first.

54. Favourite movie sound track?
Empire Records, probably.

55. Any musician pet peeves?
Standoffish musicians irritate me.

56. What do your parents listen to?
Classic rock mixed with random, recent artists. A good example would be my mom's love of Beck.

From Her Lips to God's Ears (The Energizer) - Against Me!

58. Do you wear band T-shirts?
About 72% of my wardrobe, haha. Good quality, cheap prices, good conversation pieces if you are around the right people.

59. What do you think of people who do?
It's hard to judge, no?

60. What music sub-culture do you feel like you belong to?
I don't think that distinctions can really be made anymore. I feel like I belong to the subculture of people who would rather pay for a show than a meal for the day.

61. What song is stuck in your head right now?
None, at present.

62. Do you sing in the shower?
Back in the condo, yes, but not in the dorm.

63. If so, what? If not, why not?
Whatever happens to be in my head at that point or songs that I'm working on/// I don't think that others using the bathroom should have to be subjected to me, haha.

64. Would you rather marry a musician or be one yourself?
Be one, of course. But both would be quite nice.

65. How important is your partner's taste in music to you?
They would have to have at least some interest in music. If there were conflict bands, oh well. Keeps things interesting!
