Oh I'm glad you like Arthur Russell, it's a fabulous cd you picked out. Haven't heard all of them yet but I can recommend 'Another Thought' too. And I'm looking forward to Waits a lot yes... He's been playing a lot off his last albums but also off Rain Dogs, just nothing off his very early albums. But the setlists do look great so far...

I can't really blame you for saying that, he doesn't cheer me up either. But I guess I like to be depressed from time to time :). Arthur Russell is great, you could give it a try. It's hard to put a genre on his music but definitely worth giving it a try.

Random jobs for people, now that sounds suspicious ;). I'm fine, doing a summer job soon and going to a couple outdoor gigs. Will probably see Sigur Rós again later this year indoors. Haven't heard the new album yet... But I've heard people who didn't like the new one who really loved the show so I hope same goes for you.
