I'm very restricted in my classroom. My computer is so slow that it takes 50 minutes to download an mp3 from a cd! My mac, was once internet connected, now isn't - so if I download music to it from my cds, i don't know what albums they are.

Currently I'm listening to The CureBurnThe Crow. Some of my students had done a trailer for a film called Anathema (no, not the band - although I haven't llistened to them in YEARS!) and they needed music for it. This song was one of the choices.

… blew me away … The Roundhouse in Camden on Friday night and Saturday night. A whole punk caberet topped by The Dresden Dolls.

We even were treated to a performance by Edward Ka Spel from The Legendery Pink Dots.

… I've been playing around with the PC so iTunes is currently having a heart attack trying to 'determine gapless playback'. Grrr, I wanted to do a CD for our car journey today.

Ok … this week was blokey's birthday and he got many HMV vouchers. So our CD collection has grown yet again.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh … it keeps crashing my computer. However many times I reinstall it, it keeps crashing. I don't know what's wrong.
Going to sulk now.
I would use Creative Media Source (as I have a Creative MP3 player) but Last.FM doesn't recognise it. Also, I like iTunes for the podcasts. I don't know what to do. I think I will just sulk.

ooooh … I'm liking emusic.com. You see, I'm having a bit of a goth resurgance (I can't spell at 4:32 am) … and it's got a lot of the old stuff on there I used to love. And man it's cheap! £14.99 for 90 downloads. I know you can get it for free on Limewire - but I've had so much trouble with that that I've given up.
