2010 was a year of some changes, some hard moments but also lots of fun. In music, some good discoveries and greater presence of mainstream songs in my days (and also in my top 20):
20 - Alice Cooper - You and me Maybe one of the best love songs ever made.
19 - Lady GaGa - Bad romance Everywhere I went there was "Bad Romance", so here it is too.
18 - Paul McCartney & Wings - Mrs. Vandebilt Going to McCartney show certainly was one of the best moments of the year. I discovered this song because of the show and loved it instantly.
17 - Edward Maya - Stereo Love The accordeon riff of this song is catchy. As this song became a world mania in 2010, it could not be different to me.
16 - Jackson do Pandeiro - Feito de manteiga I never thought I could like so much a song of this style. But its happy mood and with a very nice keyboard part made me listen to it many times this year.
15 - Ke$ha - Tik Tok Pop music came back to me strongly this year, and this was one of the best on the radio, different from her other songs that are awful.
14 - Matisyahu - One day I usually don't like reggae, but it's very good. And it also has good lyrics with a beautiful message.
13 - Led Zeppelin - Ten years gone A little bit of classic rock on the list. Led Zeppelin has many masterpieces and this is another one.
12 - The McCoys - Don't Worry Mother, Your Son's Heart Is Pure The McCoys are best know by Hang on Sloopy, Fever and many other "Sloopy"'s soundalikes. But this psychedelic song of theirs beats them all by far
11 - Rainbow - Stargazer A heavy metal masterpiece. Very strong and with powerful vocal parts. I discovered this song shortly before Dio's death and maybe that's the reason I felt his death more than I expected.
10 - Porno for pyros - Tahitian Moon Very good alternative rock song from the 90s.
09 - Oasis - Part of the queue Since 2009 I've been having an Oasis revival. Due to this, I discovered this very good song this year.
08 - Marilyn Manson - Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand) Marilyn Manson making love songs is a weird idea. But the result was very good in this case.
07 - Bee Gees - Lemons never forget Almost every year there has been an early Bee Gees' song in top 20. This year was no different and this time it was this nice song with strange lyrics.
06 - Desmond Dekker - Fu Manchu Ten years ago another Dekker song (You can get it if you really want) played an important part for me. Now it's the time for this one with splendid keyboards. It's a candidate to the title of best reggae song ever.
05 - Chuckie - Let the bass kick The techno song of the year. The lyrics are completely useless, but the song itself is perfect for parties.
04 - The Stranglers - North winds blowingThe Stranglers are one of my favourite bands ever. And this year I discovered this wonderful song which since the first time I listened to it I thought "I have to listen to it once more".
03 - The Beatles - She loves you The first song I remember loving (it was 1989 and I didn't even know what The Beatles were). 21 years after, it returned strongly. Maybe partly because of nostalgia.
02 - Barão Vermelho - Down em mim Sad songs usually take special parts in my days, and it was no different with this one. Besides that, it has very good piano and guitar parts.
01 - Barrabas - Woman It was the year of Spain in the World Cup. And also on my top 20. This Spanish (although sung in English) disco song is definitely special. I discovered it a little late in the year, but it was enough for it to become the number one song of the year.
