It's been going good. Nothing much that I can say. My life is pretty boring. How about you?

It's definitely good music for sure. But, I think the more and more bands you listen to, the more sounds you begin to feel partial towards. Say for instance, if a certain song, sounds more punk, or metal, or country, you then start to listen to more of those genres. Also, I find, bands that influence other bands. Soundgarden, especially their early stuff, was kind of influenced by Sabbath, Zeppelin, even at times Black Flag. So, the cycle is endless, and the older one gets, the more their mind opens up. Trust me, I've discovered so much music. =]

Thanks Frusciante. =] You're taste is quite good too, very 90's-ish, but nothing wrong with that. The music of Seattle practiacally raised me. =]

In fact I always keep in mind something that Danny Carey... that amazing drummer from other galaxy who plays from Tool * ha ha, one of my fave drummers * said : " A band is like a family, you gotta trust your bro's and things will work."... Anyway, hey... if you wish to talk more 'bout music and all this stuff, I've got an idea, let's trade msn's so we could chat a loooot ha ha... Believe me, I'm always willing to talk 'bout music. For reasons of space I don't shout that much here on last.fm ha ha... here's my msn: metaller17@hotmail.com. You in? ha ha... gotta go, see ya later then :)

    * Oh gee... Hiatus :( , then who I'll tour with, my friend! :( ha ha...* Well, as far as I know, sometimes making a band is really, really hard. To me it took like 6 years to finally find the pieces of the puzzle... and it was a goddamn hard search, in fact I was thinking in going solo * somehow it is, 'cause I'm the songwriter, but I let my musicians run creatively free over my compositions *... so maybe you'll go towards in a singer/songwriter mood, sort of like a Neil Young vibe or something... it's funny yesterday I was thinking 'bout that there should be more girls playing the guitar, that would be interesting! 'cause, it's somewhat ehm... saturated with we men ha ha... maybe you girls *I bet it is* have another approach to the instrument :). Well, things with the ellusive bass fella is sorta fine, although I'm pushing him a lot ha ha... my poor friend has to learn lots of stuff, ranging from progressive rock, grunge, and classical music. Hope he does fine... :)Gotta trust him :)

For sure, those albums are somewhat more straightforward / progressive rock than Kid A, which in some ways resembles minimal music like Philipp Glass. Sick, really? Well hope you get well soon :). I'm quite fine, a bit tired 'cause I'm on the last run of my college days... well months actually, in six months it will be over :)... and finding inspiration to do some music and teaching how to play bass to the elusive bass player ha ha... (yeah it is elusive)... What's on with Trauma Sweden huh ? :)... any news?

Um yeah, I'm Victoria... just commenced my seventeenth year, fighting hard to avoid that epidemic that is epitomized by the Snuggie™ (how I abhor that invention)- you guessed it (didn't you?) Average American Complacency. I'm highly unconventional (I hope so) and uncoordinated (I know so)... Vibrant and vital, but deadpan to the point that half the time my own friends can't even tell when I'm joking (that said, I'm always looking for the next (but not always the last) laugh). Often classified (I fucking hate labels) as "weird" I'm a perfect mess of contradictions... and I wouldn't have it any other way. I live by my own code, but have only one real rule:
As for yourself do what you will, but stop and consider how others may feel... (Don't fuck with me, and I won't with you.)

TRAUMA SWEDEN is on an indefinite hiatus... solo project anyone?

The mind is the only place that anything can be truly said to exist. The outside world is only known to us as it appears within us by the testament of our senses. The imagination is the most real world that we know because we each know it first hand. Seeing our ideas take form is like being able to see the sun come into being. We have no equivelent to the purity of that in our account of the outside world. The outer world appears to each of us as one thing and it is always also a multitude of others. Inside to outside and outside to inside are neverending. Trying and giving up are a form of breathing.

- John Frusciante

I can insult you in no less than FIVE different languages. No, seriously. I have a book of foreign swear words and insults. It's pretty awesome.

Nice try McCain... even if you did pick that Palin bitch for a running mate... did you really think we were going to vote for you/her just b/c she has a vagina? But anyway, nice try, and a huge congratulations to our 44th president...

President
OBAMA!

My believe in the American voting public is somewhat restored, and for the first time in nearly 8 years, I'm not ashamed of my nationality... THANK YOU AMERICA, THANK YOU!

The only thing I know for sure is that I know nothing, and nothing is for sure...

"Censorship is Bullshit", but TROLLS might be worse

Migraines blow my mind... literally

I'm alternately the happiest and most depressed person I know, often simultaneously. I'm an anti-social butterfly, who talks a lot without saying anything at all. I believe money is the root of all evil, and yet I always want more of it. Hopelessly addicted to dihydrogen monoxide and music, I have a rather unhealthy fascination with drug addiction. As much as I despise myself, and long to be anybody else, my damned ego would never let me change. My downfalls are generally self-inflicted.

To all the people who have told me to Be more reasonable, Victoria or to Have more realistic plans for my life:
I'm most founded and grounded when I'm wandering, lost, with my head in the clouds, or perhaps just up my ass. My children are the words on the pages, the sounds I almost hear in my minds' ears. That's my contribution to the future generations. Let them figure it out. I'm finished.

Oh, and

Maturity Is Overrated

Apparently I pronounce the letter "O" weirdly (according to stjimmyisgone)

Kurt Cobain is my idol
John Frusciante is a close second
And of course, of course, of course, god himself, Bob Dylan
Oh and Eddie Vedder is pretty much the best singer of our times... although Mark Lanegan certainly gives him competition for that title... and I would've said Chris Cornell, but the collaboration w/ Timbaland (what the fuck is so hard about putting in an "er"???) is, well, disturbing.
And Don van Vliet is god of bizarre (and by bizarre I mean amazing) music... RESPECT TO THE MAN IN THE TROUT MASK!!!

Some words to (maybe) live by: Life's a bitch and then you die, so fuck this shit, let's go get high!

I really like:
-My genuine Fender® Stratocaster®!
-The 44th US President
-Horses (I ride hunters/equitation (jumping) competitively)
-Music (look at me stating the obvious)-- but not top 40 shit or emo, etc.
-Playing guitar (a compulsion)
-Writing (see note after guitar)
-Weird people/places/things
-Mind-expanding/altering experiences...
-When people actually take the time to fill out this section-- it's always interesting to read

I dislike:
-A lot of my own personality traits
-Manufactured/mass-produced/commercialized music
-The "holiday season"
-The Bush Administration
-The Religious Right (actually the whole institution of religion bothers me, but that's a long story)
-Narrow-mindedness
-Trolls (unintelligent ones, anyway): Seriously, go back to jerking off to pictures of your mom or whatever it is you do when you're not spamming and let the rest of us enjoy and share our music in peace
-Drum loops
-Purple (the color, not the STP album, which is fantastic)
-Pointless conversations (but I like to talk)
- _'s
-Math
-People who complain so much that they list out their dislikes (see the top of this list)

Add me if you want... even if our tastes vary significantly (how unfortunate for you... I'm joking I swear) I really don't give a shit what you like... Opinion is SO subjective, by definition...

Also, if you want to recommend something, please, PLEASE do! I'm always looking for something new... my philosophy is try everything once, and if I like it, go for it!

"Chatspeak" is an abomination of the English (or any other I guess) language, and fucking emoticons are just an insult to punctuation as a whole... seriously, what did colons and parentheses ever do to you??? (if you see me using these idiotic symbols, it's probably a joke)

My Strat OWNS

If you actually read through all of this, you're pretty fucking awesome (or perhaps just pretty fucking bored?) Add me now hahaha

Take a look at what you are... It's pretty scary

-Turnaround (Nirvana... OK technically a Devo cover, but fuck correctness)

So help me god, I can't tell the difference
whether I sniff at Aemilius' mouth or at his ass.
The one is not cleaner and the other not dirtier.
Actually the asshole may be cleaner and nicer in the end,
at least it has no teeth, the mouth has long fang ones,
with the gums of an old manure-loaded shit wagon,
and a foul odor which the pissing cunt
of a mule in heat is often likely to have.
Well, he fancies himself a beauty, fucks many a lady
yet is not sent to the mill-jail as a working ass. 10
If any girl touches him, wouldn't we think her ready
to lick the ass of a sick torture-chamber executioner?

- translation of Catullus 97 (Who knew Latin poetry would be so deliciously vulgar?)
