Incredibly solid album of classic mod fave raves and newer 60s influenced dance tracks. Makes me pine for a Northern Soul all-nighter at Wigan Casino. There are really no duds in this comp. Highlights are "I'm A Man" by the Spender Davis Group (old favorite), "25 Miles" by Edwin Starr (another old fav), "Soul Time" by Shirley Ellis, a true Northern Soul anthem (try not to sing along when she starts counting!), and "She's Got Everything" by the Kinks, a song I plan on wearing out. Lots of the songs are streamable via last.fm so definitely try to give it a listen!
