Ian: Just found out the dates of the other 2 venues (NIN @ the Wiltern on 9/5, and @ the Echoplex on 9/6). All that's left is finding out the onsale date(s).

No problem! Good luck to both us getting tickets. I think the Fonda would be the best show. The place is kind of...shall we say "well worn", just the right atmosphere to get your aggressions out. The Wiltern is a fancy Old-Style theatre, and the Palladium has just been renovated. The Echoplex is practically a lounge, very dark inside (with horrible sitelines if you're not lucky to be up front). Anyway, we should both keep checking the nin website for further announcements. :)

And, yes I saw DCFC and Tegan & Sara @ the Bowl this past Sunday. I sat next to another lastfm'er (we had box seats, super close). We couldn't complain since the seats were great in such a large venue. But the sound was a bit off, during DCFC's set with the Philharmonic Orch. To be honest, DCFC is way better in a smaller venue. T&S were great (of course). And The New Pornographers were the 3rd (and opening) act, but they only played 30 minutes (while people were still arriving).

Yes, I'm definitely going to one of the shows! I've been to all the proposed venues NIN has scheduled for LA. Here are some of the vitals: the Hollywood Palladium date is 9/2/09 with a capacity of 4,000, the Wiltern Theatre (date not announced yet) has a capacity of 2,200, the Henry Fonda Music Box (I see 9/3/09 highlighted on their site) has a capacity of only 850, and the Echoplex (date not announced) is the smallest at 580. THAT last one will be difficult to get when it goes on sale. I'm going to try for the Fonda (I always have good luck there). Well, I'm going to try for all of them, but that one's my preference. I'll be screwed if they all go on sale at the same time.

You're so lucky! I haven't been to any of their shows yet :'( I like this last album of theirs has really shown how they've grown - especially with the meaning in the lyrics. And thanks! You have some pretty nice artists on your charts too :D I see you just listened to Brazilian Girls, I LOVE them. Good Time is my favorite song of theirs. Really great happy-music.

Hi Ian! It was a pretty fun mini-concert last night @ the Kimmel show. Blink played 8 songs (2 were filmed for broadcast). Lots of kids surging to the rails, with bodysurfing attempts being had. I had a studio ticket, so I saw that nights interviews before being walked out to the outdoor stage (where there were already people gathered). So, I had to sit through Paris Hilton's blatherings first. :P
