I'm still doing what I posted in my first bulletin. I.E. - Using an ongoing list of recommendations from amazon.com to find new stuff in my collection of music to listen to. But now my use has changed a bit. I've got myself an ipod, and I love it to death. Firstly, it lets me waste time at work. I can load it up with music, and podcasts, and the time flys by quicker at work now. It can also synch up with itunes and isproggler, and it will update playcounts in itunes, and send information to last.fm. Now my list is growing to be more of my own taste, instead of me listening to amazon recommendations.
Also, recently I had my car broken into. Stereo system stolen, and about 300 CDs are gone too. It's like part of me has been defiled. Now, some of those albums I have no interest in anymore, but they were a part of me, a part of how I've grown up. Now I'm left with fraction of the albums I've ever purchased. I don't know what I should do. Try to rebuild, or just say fuck it.
And so it goes...
