It's funny that you noticed. I was curiously drawn to listening to the album after you sent me that one video, truth be told...Sex sells, I guess.haha. I never really paid attention to the narration until I actually read the lyrics for each song. The storytelling was really interesting, my favorite character is the Rake. I'm still not crazy about the music, except the Queen's numbers and "The Rake's Song."

I don't think I can see Of Montreal. It's like one time only magicalness. Also, I just remembered reading somewhere that Deerhunger, Dan Deacon, and some other cool band (maybe No Age??? but probably something else) were planning a tour. Sooo. Street Scene, eh.

Yeah, that Buddy Wakefield album was dope. He's about due for another one. It's been three years. I liked what B Dolan did with his debut, though, kind of a concept album about a guy and his computer in a post-apocalyptic hideaway, but "Skycycle Blues" was definitely the centerpiece, and that was more a piece of slam poetry rather than a rap/flow. And yet, he hates being called a slam poet.
