i may now own a very dubious last.fm record. Thanks for the understanding, and please accept my humble apologies.

Howdy, how's things? I see you've been busy. I'll check out your new stuff when I get a round "TO-IT" LOL Thanx in advance for input on the 'mom and pop' tag.

Shawn, Thanks for alerting me re: my multiple sends of The Stone Coyotes' Digging for Gold. it was being sent to a rather large list of last.fm friends, and when i hit the "send" button, it appeared it wasn't being sent. so i hit "send" again, and again, and....anyway, after you tipped me as to fact you had received more than one, i ended up deleting everything that was sent. if i eventually resend(?), i'll make sure you don't receive another

Hi Shawn, you are right. Bass is less exact for echolocation, and I know that, but, errmm, I didn't think about that. You don't need to thank me for listening to your music. I should thank you for sharing it.

Hi Shawn, to be honest, your description of [artist]Facial Vision[/artist] (not the artist, which is you, but the phenomenon) was a reason to listen to it. And, talking about facial vision, are you sure it is only the ears which record the echo? I only like some Reggae songs, but the sub-woofers were relevant, IMHO. If that is true, I didn't only hear it with my ears, but also with my stomach (or whatever, but CDs don't sound like LPs)..

Yes, it HAS been a while. On top of being distracted from Last.fm by pragmatic concerns, I also have two accounts...which I didn't really intend...and I could be listening as "avivagabriel" or "avivamagnolia." So, I may seem to "disappear" more than I actually do. Still, I've been away from Last.fm, and your wonderful group, for a long long time...a long winter!

Hey thank you for actually listening to that, and I noticed you did a bunch of tagging as well. I really appreciate that. As for the artists we do have in common, they are all very good indeed!

You could always join the new cover project that's cooking right now. Maybe you have read about it in the discussions? Apskaft's very first project was a cover project, where we suggested songs and then distributed them randomly among the participants. This time we're covering an entire album. There will be a volume 4 in the Apskaft Presents series too, but we haven't set any dates for it yet. I like your music and I hope you will be joining as many of our projects as possible!

hi shawn. re: pylon; i just remembered that that one is all double bass, though obviously it's been fiddled about with a lot. that's probably why it sounds the way you describe (rather generously!). it definitely helps keep it a bit more, er, human sounding, if you know what i mean, cheers, peter.

i think it was just my work connection - gets a bit flaky at times! thanks for the kind words. my stuff is always a bit unpredictable to the extent that i'm never quite sure what i'm going to end up with. if i didn't spend so much time on it i'd describe it as mucking about! :-) cheers, peter.
