This will be my first journal entry, and I thought it was a good way to start off. Blatently stolen from the latest group I just joined, Born in 1971 and posted by robertc64.

Which albums out there are, in your opinion, flawless? This means that every single track is decent and you can listen to every track individually and they sound good or you can listen to the album all the way through and it sounds great.

Bloodletting I fell in love with Concrete Blonde when I discovered this in college. I listened to this over and over, all the way through. I never skipped a single track. I think Tomorrow, Wendy is my favourite track, but it's hard to pick.

Full Moon Fever MAN. I Labsolutely adored this, I had this on cassette and then finally got it on cd….so was amused by the "Hello CD listeners" snippet. I can't pick a favourite, but two to check out are Yer So Bad and Love Is A Long Road.

Hallowed Ground I didn't know ANYTHING about the Femmes until I hit high school and everyone was listening to them. A friend of mine copied this onto cassette for me and I fell in love with their quirky sound. I was still listening to dad's classic rock stuff, so this was a big switch for me. I Hear The Rain is probably what I played the most.

Appetite For Destruction Wow, I had this on cassette, and I've had and lost and then got this cd so many times. GNR was my first concert, and I still love them. This narrowly beats out Use Your Illusion 1 and Use Your Illusion 2, but I always go back to it so I'd say…..check out Night Train.

Metallica The self titled black album. I'd heard Metallica before,thanks to my brother Josh, who was 6 years younger than me and fast becoming a metalhead. Then I was in college when this came out and I turned it up and banged on. Can you dig it? Through The Never and Sad But True were my favourites.

Achtung Baby I liked U2 before this. I got into The Joshua Tree, but didn't love ALL the songs. Then this popped out. I was completely and totally in love. One CHANGED my life, I swear. Actually, I loved all the tracks. What can I say?

Throwing Copper I had never heard of Live before this came out. Then I was working nights in Minneapolis and happened to have time to watch videos, and they kept playing Lightning Crashes. I got hooked, so I went out and bought it. It was a good pick, because I loved all the songs. That doesn't happen a lot. As a matter of fact, it's really the only CD of theirs I adore.

Blue Sky Mining I had only ever heard Beds Are Burning, so I didn't think too much about it when this came out. They actually played Blue Sky Mine on the radio, so I went and picked up the cassette. I wore it out! I had to go and buy a second one, and then when I got a cd player, I bought the disc. I still have the disc and it's beat to hell, but I still love all the songs. One Country and particularly Bedlam Bridge.

Tuesday Night Music Club All I Wanna Do was all OVER the radio and the videos. The sound hooked me so much, I went out and bought the tape. Wore this one out too! I love Sheryl Crow, and I've liked several of her other releases, but this is my favourite, all the songs took me in. Check out Run, Baby, Run and We Do What We Can.

Scarecrow My all time favourite song by John is Paper in Fire. But nothing quite gets me as much as this cd does. I remember I was in high school when this came out, and everyone was listening to Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. I was an oddball. I couldn't stop singing Rain on the Scarecrow, and Grandma's Theme just haunted me. Yet another worn out tape.

Back To Bedlam This is probably going to be the newest album on the list. Actually, my niece introduced me to James Blunt, back when they were first rotating the You're Beautiful video, trying to get his name out there. I liked the song. I didn't LOVE it, so I didn't go buy the CD. Then I heard a few more…No Bravery and Goodbye My Lover. It was all over with. I snatched it up, and kept on playing.

Rumours Old school. I think it's time, don't you? This album, oh my god, I was 6 when it came out, and it's about influenced my whole life! I think The Chain and Gold Dust Woman are two of my all time favourite songs.

Houses of the Holy Yeah, this is it. Probably most folks love Led's Zoso, but to me this is just classic. It's got something for everyone, and if I was forced at gunpoint to pick out an all time favourite song, it'd be Over the Hills and Far Away.

Dark Side of the Moon I love Pink Floyd. And I love most of their albums, but this is the one that stands out the most to me. Thanks DAD! Check: Brain Damage and Us and Them.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band The Beatles will always remain my favourite group. I'm very fickle, I love all kinds of music, but these boys from Liverpool hold a very special place in my heart. It's so funny, because I was influenced early on by my father and mother, and NEITHER ONE OF THEM liked the Beatles. They were too "pop" I guess. Say whatever you like about the Beatles, it'll never change my opinion. And on that note, my favourite album by them is Sgt. Pepper. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds is so psychedelic! I got my reseller name from that song. And there's A Day In The Life, When I'm Sixty-Four, and of course the title track. If you don't have it, and are the least little bit inclined to like the boys, RUN. Go buy it.

That was so much easier than I thought when I first got started, and now I realise that I could have continued on! It's just a lot of writing. Tee. Enjoy? I hope.
