Once again because I am bored lol.
Day 01 - Your Favourite Song
This is my favourite Ayumi Hamasaki song to date. It just reminds me of summer, it also reminds me of being sad and crying along with it, it reminds me of being young. So many memories from one song LOL. I was a relatively new Ayu fan, only 13 years old when it came out, time really goes by fast.
Day 02 - Your Least Favourite Song
Yes out of all the songs I have on my iPod this is the one that I hate the most but I hate not having full albums on it so I never remove songs I dislike LOL. I don't know this song just makes me cringe, I've only listened to it in full once and it's probably never going to happen again rofl.
Day 03 - A Song that Makes you Happy
This is a relatively new addition to my iPod but it's already on my infamous "Stuff that I don't skip over" playlist. It's a great remix, not to mention it sounds happy enough so yeah LOL listening to it makes me happy/gives me a pick me up.
Day 04 - A Song that Makes you Sad
This song will never not mess me up. There isn't much more to say about it other than if you need a good cry just listen to this. Love it to pieces though.
Day 05 - A Song that Reminds you of Someone
This song reminds me of my mom (LOL) why does it remind me of my mom you ask? Well because for some reason when I was younger I could always swear that I heard her calling my name while I was listening to it even though she actually never did call my name rofl. It still happens from time to time when I listen to the song.
Day 06 - A Song that Reminds you of Somewhere
This song reminds me of the time where I lived in my grandparents house, I started listening to japanese music when I was around 12 years old and this was one of the first songs I heard and I loved it. It just brings back memories of sitting in the livingroom listening to music because when I was young the upstairs livingroom was my spot to listen to music. I would sit on the couch with my discman and just listen for hours and hours. Before I could actually pick up the lyrics to japanese songs on my own like I do now I used to have to print out the lyrics to learn the songs and I would sit there singing and listening LOL it was quite a carefree time in my life.
Holy balls TL;DR, sorry about that lmao.
Day 07 - A Song that Reminds you of a Certain Event
This song reminds me of going last summer, my uncle would would sing the chorus to this song outloud every single time it played on the radio which resulted in much lulz for my entire family. The amount of lulz would only increase if he was slightly buzzed and happened to catch the song playing on the radio.
Day 08 - A Song that you Know all the Words to
東方神起 - Why? (Keep Your Head Down)
Yes I have it all down right to Yunho's lulzy raps and Changmin's insane yells LOL. This is the Japanese version of the song which everyone probably knows that already but yeah since I can't sing in Korean to save myself or anyone else I was only able to learn this one. Maybe one day when I am less of a k-pop noob (Yes I spent all of 3 to 4 years listening to nothing more than DBSK and Big Bang before steping out of my shell and actually getting into other k-pop groups late last year/early this year LOL) I will be able to pick up the words in songs as easliy as I do for jpop. Hopefully it won't take me another 10 years of listening to do it rofl.
Day 09 - A Song that you Can Dance to
I can't dance for shit, so no I can't do the actual choreography LMAO but I do enjoy dancing to this song while doing chores, or while doing anything for that matter rofl.
Day 10 - A Song that Makes you Fall Asleep
This song has such a beautiful melody, actually most of OLIVIA's ballads have this sort of beautiful ethreal sounding melody. But this one is my favourite of them all I think, and to think it's a b-side. This song is always my choice when I am having trouble falling asleep, it's just really calm and her voice sounds really gentle, about half way into the song I'm already catching some major zZZ's LOL.
Day 11 - A Song from your Favourite Band Group
I don't listen to any bands, yes I know hard to believe, so I just substituted my favourite group in instead. Love love love this song, however I find it increasingly difficult to listen to these days without getting teary eyed because of what happened to this group. It will still be my favourite forever though and I still love the work they are doing even if they are seperated.
Day 12 - A Song from a Band you Hate
Nothing to post for today because I don't really have anything in my library to put in this category. ;^;
Day 13 - A Song that is a Guilty Pleasure
I don't like Drake's music, none of the songs are really my think, and don't even get me started on that crap where the chorus consists of "oh you fancy huh?" everytime someone plays that in a car I feel like throwing them out of a window but Find Your Love is fantastic, I love this song and no one would probably even guess it well because of everything I mentioned about LOL.
Day 14 - A Song that No One would Expect you to Love
Keri Hilson - Knock You Down Feat. Kanye West & Ne-Yo
People would probably think I wouldn't like this song because wow it has american rappers in it and I generally hate rap also there was a time in my life when I thought japanese music was god sent and the only thing I could listen to without going nuts (LOL) last year around the same time I started exploring k-pop I dove back in to some american music (some not all) and found a couple of artists I like. Even though people may not agree I think this song is really beautiful and quite sad so I like it a lot.
Day 15 - A Song that Describes You
To be honest I don't even know, it would probably be best to ask this question to someone who knows me I guess.
Day 16 - A Song that you Used to Love But Now Hate
Well this actually isn't hate, but I just grew out of it, actually it can be said for most of her english album, I was in love with it when it came out but now it's just okay, I usually skip over most of the tracks when they come up on my iPod.
Day 17 - A Song that you Hear Often on the Radio
I don't listen to the radio often enough to know what the most popular songs in terms of airplay are these days.
Day 18 - A Song that you wish you heard on the Radio
Similar to yesterday's question, I don't really listen to the radio, and I don't think most of the songs I listen to on a regular basis would be played on the radio here in Toronto anyways lol.
