(a bit late, sorry!) well yeah, it's true that English has lots of non-regular stuff; also pronunciation is crazy sometimes (no rules!), etc but... think about it. No genres, no conjugations, no subjunctive, the verbs are very easy... But yeah, maybe it's not sooo easy, it's just that seems to flow from my mind since I've studied it for so long. I guess it's that. Yeah RR seems to be a problem for foreigners. I guess you know the theory? you have to put your tongue in your palate (close to your teeth but not touching them) and make your tongue vibrate... I guess that didn't help at all haha, sorry. Can't explain it any better. About me... I live in the South of Spain, in Andalucia (the stereotype of 'typical Spanish' is even stronger here! haha) and I'm in high school (next year is my last one before uni).

The hardest thing for me (apart from strong accents or just American accent -sorry) are phrasal verbs, there are just too many, it's crazy. The rest is generally quite easy... it's like one of the easiest languages ever (do you agree?). About Spanish... I'm from the South of Spain. Most of people here use "sentao" for "sentado", "pa" for "para", "to" for "todo" etc. People from the rest of Spain think it's wrong (they usually laugh at us, you know, the typical thing, North>South) but it's just a different pronunciation. So what are your problems with Spanish? I suppose subjuntivo is a bitch, and also foreign people seem to struggle with pronunciation, specially "j/g" and "c/z" and remembering that "h" is silent ;)
