I understand, sometimes things just get really busy. I'm glad you like Immortal Souls! They are one of Finland's best kept secrets. I don't listen to too much melodic death metal, but my other favorite band in this area is probably Hilastherion. The band only released one album, "Taken From Darkness," but it is phenomenal (especially the title track, it has one of my favorite riffs of all time in it). I suggest that you check this band out when you get the time!

Ciao again ! Thanks for the song, first time I heard and I liked :) Yes, I want to see penguins in their natural habitat, not in the zoo. Then I give them a big kiss and it will be OK :) My friend I like look at your music profil, but I have to admit that I don't know most of the bands, which are among you on top........for me it is a black magic ! As I'm tired of listening to metal bands, I can always escape to the Romantic Era :-) This is one of my favorite song : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1492eZvO4s Take care ! ppp

Why thank you! Reading your reply made my day :D I truly love Living Sacrifice as well. I haven't listened as much to their earlier albums (partially because I don't own them yet), so I can't vouch for every single song. It really is kind of weird that they haven't become more popular over the years. You would think that such quality music wouldn't go unnoticed... It is like Zao. These two bands have had such an impact (especially on the Christian scene), and they have offered something different, not simply a clone with breakdowns and badly sung choruses. I guess it has to do with the stigma of being labelled a Christian band, I don't know.

Ciao Amico mio :) At first, thanks for the great song. I have not heard this band before.....I added it to my music library :// Antarctica is a hospitable country. I agree with that completely. Antarctica time to come ! I will go there in the future to see my favorite animals : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mj0_p7UldVs :-) They are beautiful and funny, isn't it ? :// Ksiaz is my favorite castle in Poland. My apologies for the late reply, I haven't been checking last.fm lately. You can be whatever you want bro, the internet hasn't left anything unprovided to you for free. And I see you're listening to Like Moths To Flame. Their debut album is absolutely dangerous. Brutal stuff :)

Thanks for your time. I think you'll like the new Demon Hunter if you give it a chance. Living Sacrifice is so awesome. They deserve so much more credit than they've received. What other band has gone from producing some of the greatest thrash albums of all time (imo arguably on par with some Slayer) and also such masterpieces like Conceived in Fire and The Infinite Order? It's unreal!

I might help you in this search .. I'm a student in musicology : basicly all there is to know around the theory around classical music. Let's just say I have a knowledge of most classical styles ( from medieval till modern classical music ). And I also consider myself as somekind of missionary of classical music :p quite silly maybe.

it is just that you have listened to Messiaen when I see no other classical composers ( or just not that I can see ) .. and Messiaen isn't the most easy listening composer there is. But I love him !! he has an extraterrestrial sound with his frequent use of the ondes martenot

Cryptopsy were beasts dude. I've listened to a lot of Death Metal albums, but after None So Vile, I doubt I'll find anything to outmatch it. haha, tomorrow's my final day, I get to finish my Philosophy and Physics exams (I can't wait to fail my Physics :P), and then I have 14 days not knowing what to do...

So the Mort cd can be ordered from the following site: http://soundmass.com/ However, that's much too expensive for me right now. As far as I know it isn't on iTunes or anything like that yet. Also, judging from the track listing, there are 4 bonus tracks of past songs. So that will even out to 10 songs (6 beings new ones). I wish they had done a normal pre-order and such :/

Yes, I love the new songs. Definitely back towards their roots, which I love. It's going to be an EP (6 new songs). The official release date is April 1st I believe, but I'm not sure when they will put it up on iTunes etc. They did a kickstarter thing for the album. I asked them about a pre-order on their FB a few weeks back and they were like, well, that was the kickstarter... If I had known I would have put some money in it. I hope they will make it available quickly so I can get it :/ I'll keep you updated on what I find out.

Yes, The Hammering Process is an amazing album. I don't actually own that one, so that's probably the reason it wasn't on my list. I just haven't listened to it as much as some of the others. Conceived in Fire is great also, I had a hard time trying to choose which one =D For me, The Infinite Order really clicked though - I just love that album. Especially God is My Home <3

Haha. Musically I, Lucifer isn't bad, I just don't like the style at all compared to their first album. I really, really liked the first album and then they released this one...I don't know. I really didn't like the clean vocals. Sometimes things just don't click, and it didn't for me. Well, anyway I hope you find something that you like! :)

Cool. I think it's awesome that you're checking out all of Mortification. A lot of people just listen to the older stuff and so miss out on gems like Relentless. And Hammer of God definitely kills - especially Metal Crusade. That song is just sick.

And fyi, these are probably my favorite Mortification albums: Scrolls of the Megilloth, Post Momentary Affliction, Envision Evangelene, Hammer of God, Relentless, and Brain Cleaner.

Sure. For the first half I'd probably go with Scrolls of the Megilloth or Post Momentary Affliction. These albums (especially Scrolls) are considered the pinnacle of their career. For the later half I'd recommend to start with Hammer of God. They still have some thrash metal roots in this album but also preview some of the heavy metal overtones that come later. It's one of my favorites too. Really, it's hard to recommend any one album since there are so many and since Mortification switch styles so much. But I hope that helps!

I'll be sure to download Solar Fields. And yeah, some people just brag about the MBTI without deeply looking into it, or just properly knowing about it. I'm not in university yet. I'll be majoring in Psychology though, and I'm looking forward to that. Listen to GIAA when you can, and enjoy your music. We're friends here, so if you ever wanna chat, hit me up!

And plus, the NF function plays the biggest role. You seem to know your stuff well my friend, what do you do at the moment? And if you want something relaxing, calm, and deep sometime, download All Is Violent, All Is Bright by God Is An Astronaut. It's nothing related to metal, but I love it so much that I have to recommend it.

The MBTI sure is an amazing and precise system. I'm tankful I was introduced to it. But I must say, the P & J sure make a bit of difference :p I am fine, just finished doing my philosophy report for school, and enjoying some new Deathcore. The latest Molotov Solution is beast!
