I was at the Fillmore for The Coup and Lyrics Born last night when a girl next to me leaned over and called me out for seeing me at virtually every concert. She wanted an explanation - I tried to tell her she must have a good taste in music - I dig live concerts… what can I say. It's also hard to explain myself over the sond system at the Fillmore.

Now I'm all self conscious about how many people see me at concerts and think.. "oh, that guy again"

I went cd shopping today… picked up some stuff that I have on vinyl back in virginia… Ramblin' Jack Elliott and Robert Johnson were represented, the Bill Monroe album I was looking for was not in stock… I'll have to grab Uncle Pen someplace else… or reunite with my records.

i used to buy a lot more cd's in boston when I biked past the used record stores daily… it's not like that anymore… slightly sad.

I signed up for an account at Jambase tonight because I was sick of always entering the city that I live in. Now I have a profile set up and things are moving a bit smoother. You can add groups that you like to your profile and the site will keep an eye on them, only problem is that I didn't have a list of my favorite artists around except for on last.fm

This is as much for me to remember as for anyone else wishing to import their top artists into Jambase…
