Answering to an old shout of yours... I missed a Scanner gig in Bucharest myself... a year ago or so. Meh, add that to the list of concerts I miss because I find out of stuff after it has happened (Pierre Bastien, Gloria Coates, William Parker)... No sign of David Shea around here though.

alright, will try to find that one then. regarding area, I don't know much about them except for the music on a few albums, which I really like, I don't find it that extremely experimental either.and if you like Demetrio Stratos, maybe you've heard Phil Minton? another experimental vocalist, he's quite impressive too.

also, I recently found the Italian band Area, which I like alot, and also the singer of the aforementioned band, Demetrio Stratos, who is close to unbelievable at times. I guess you might have heard it already, but otherwise it's really worth listening to.

it certainly seems he was :) Dell' Universo Assente is a great album. I really love Die Schachtel, they seem to release alot of interesting stuff, such as Cilio and Art Fleury.
