I was also there, and I literally almost died during the opening band. :D And I was referring to the band that went on even before Paint It Black. Some straightedge hardcore where the singer was wearing a Minor Threat shirt. Did you catch their name?

Same here. As much as I really like something hard and to the point, it's the melodies and harmonies that get me hooked. For example - I adore the album No Control, but I love The Gray Race even more....It's those layered vocal harmonies. So damn good! Have you ever had the chance to see BR live? They're amazing, especially considering they've been around for almost 30 years now.

Yeah, that entire album always does it to me. Same with any Op Ivy songs (and Bad Religion, especially). They definitely made the drudgery of a typical high school day a lot more bearable!
