I see you put yourself down as a "maybe" for the o'death show. :) You really should go. I promise, you won't regret it. I don't think you were there the last time they came to town, were you? In March of 2008. Man, they were so amazing. Their live show is fantastic and so full of energy.

lol Way to go and miss both shows. :P No, but seriously, Xiu Xiu was really good. They are great live, and very nice. But, it was hot as hell up in there, just like I knew it would be. So at least you avoided that. I'm not sure how Ratatat was. Probably good, but I haven't talked to anyone who went to that show.

OMG, you got "Geese", "Daughters", *and* "Karen"?!?! I'm soooo jealous, you don't even know. "Daughters" is the only one of those three I've seen live and it was magical. "About Today" is so beautiful too. Downloading this now. If I wasn't in Chicago that weekend for Lollapalooza (where The National played an incredible show but without many of the goodies you got) and I didn't go to the She & Him (wonderful as well) show on the same date, I would've been there.

Hey, so I just found out that the Skeletonbreath show doesn't start until 10 p.m. Still don't know if there are any other bands there or not. They just posted a bulletin about it on MySpace. Just figured I'd let you know.

Unfortunately, I don't know if it's just Skeletonbreath, or if there will be any other bands there. I think it might just be them, but I'm not 100% about that. The reason why I think it might just be them is because they had a really tough time booking a venue in Pittsburgh, and Gooski's was a last minute decision. Pittsburgh was TBA on a venue for Skeletonbreath all the way up until 3 days before they started the tour. So who knows if they got anyone else to do a show with them or not. But I hope you can make it. :)
