It was time to clean up my iTunes Library with the correct Album Covers, Song and Album Titles. So maybe anyone else will find this guide useful, but it will focus on MAC users.


First for unknown Songtitles or Albumtitles i used musicbrainz.org they got tools for MAC and PC which analyse the Song and suggest Title and Albumtitles.


Next get some Applescripts from Doug Adams Homepage. I used the following two Scripts to clean up my hughe mp3 Library little bit.

- Proper English Title Capitalization

- Tracks Without Artwork to Playlist


After that i tried to get the album covers without the iTunes Store Feature, so i have more control over which Covers get added. For this Task i used the following Tools.

- The Widget "Amazon Album Art Widget" from Simon Whitaker www.widget-foundry.com

- FetchArt from www.aric.org

Both Tools are Freeware, there's also a great Tool called Coverscout from equinux.com for 19.95$
