Oh man, something about those guys and their music really gets to me too, like you said, some kind of mental release. I was up in the bar only when Thrones was playing but as soon as Isis started setting up I was on the floor the rest of the night, right smack dab in the middle of the pit actually. I even had one guy call me a brat saying I was pushing everyone...but I was like uhhh dude...that's what a mosh pit is for. haha. How bout you? Spend anytime in the pit or just off the sidelines?

Oh my god! It was an orgasmic show to say the least! My neck still hurts so bad hah. The only thing that sucked was that it didn't last long enough! I had such a blast though.

OK so here goes...I gave more listening to with Dredg, at first it didn't seem too bad but until I got about half way through Catch Without Arms...I was cringing : { the mans voice ruined it for me. Maybe it was just that album? I don't know but I couldn't handle it.

I probably wouldn't be interested in seeing them again if I hadn't seen them play with Isis. I don't like black metal like at all really but I really really enjoyed watching those guys play and they do add some kind of extra "something" to their music that makes it more intriguing. Dredg, I've liked what I have heard but it hasn't been much and I haven't had the chance to hear the new album yet either. *Adds to list*

I know exactly how you feel about not being able to explain how Weight makes you feel. That was the song that got me listening to Isis in the first place. For a track being over 10 minutes long it always feels too short. The Mastodon show...gaah, I wanted to go to that show too so bad but yeah, was sold out before I got a chance...I wanted to cry lol. Upcoming shows....hmmm I can't think of any right off the top of my head but I'm sure there's some good ones to be had coming up.
