    Heyo I'm going through my friend list to get the word out about this great new band (Black Valentine) I've come across. They have a bandcamp site http://blackvalentine.bandcamp.com/, and for the moment are giving their music away for FREE. Kind of garage lofi electro pop. Oh and they're from Iceland. Incidentally, I found them through gogoyoko.

    How were Lafaro? They're playing thru here tonight so decided not to bother with the hike over.

    I hear you.. currently trying to find out what a kidney's worth so i can go to spiritualized. Lafaro have decided they're playing Edinburgh so i'm gonna go to that rather than hike to the west to save some pennies. It's an expensive business all this going to watch bands.

    The Orb.. although it wasn't as good as i'd hoped. Probably should've gone to see Mogwai but then i've seen them quite a bit over the years and The orb's shows are few and far between. Pretty mingin day in Glasgow though. made the mistake of standing in the que for a wee pizza when i think i should've gone for a hotog ad spoken to the guys from the twilight sad who were hangin' about. You wern't at Public Enemy were you?
