    cool, Liverpool was voted recently as the best city in England for music history, so me and my friends were talking the other day about it and we reckon it definitely should be Manchester (but then again we're biased ;-) I'm trying to think of some other Manc bands that you might like, David Gray is in a similar mold to Badly Drawn Boy just a bit more poppy. Ocean Colour Scene (actually from Birmingham) are one you might not have heard of, they're a really good band, similar to Oasis, i think you'd really like them. The Verve are top, have you listened to A Storm in Heaven album? its one of my fav albums. But other than that you've got some great bands in your chart list. P.s 24-party people is awesome! some great stories in there.

    he was pretty good. the mystic valley band were awesome. they totally tore it up. i much appreciate that he doesnt sound so whiney nowadays. jenny lewis totally rocked it too. shes just amazing. you goin to any shows this fall?

    sounds good, i'll be there for a few days. I think Chandler and Tina will be there until wednesday after the wedding. let me know if there is anything interesting playing down there. I've never gone to a show in LA. If you look at my show list, i've been going to tons lately because I'm stuck up in Seattle for work and have nothing else to do. I've been doing 1,2, or even 3 a week :)
