Greetings! My pet waterbird has come out of retirement, and will be making the rounds shortly among yaz that submitted your #1 most played tracks from 2022. Like myself, he is getting old and doesn't move as quickly as he used to, sometimes even getting lost enroute. However, like his buddy the desert tortoise, he eventually gets to where he is going. He will begin his journey in the next few hrs, and assures me that unless he passes into eternity before completion of his mission, he will accomplish the task of dropping the link for the playlist in every participant's inbox some time between Today 1/13, and the end of this weekend.... Thanks for your partipation and patience:*_*)

Thanks. It's not that hot in southern Ontario right now, though we had some hot days earlier. Perhaps the highest in my city this Summer was 34 C (around 93), maybe more. Western Canada got it worst this year, with Lytton BC getting up to 49.6 C (121.28 F) on June 29th. Will check out that country song.

Hey Will, how Ya faring in these crazy times that have enveloped the planet? While searching for Christian&spiritual rap groups, i discovered E.T.W. (End Time Warriors). This pretty much unknown group disbanded over two decades ago, but man are they so very relevant for Today. i have listened to tracks off two albums of theirs, Psychotheosocioghettopathic:Th and Let's Stay Together. Every track i have listened to commands my attention, especially their rendition of the praise&worship classic, Yes Lord ~under a minute long, but an automatic hookup with God's Holy Spirit for me every play.

Hi Gary. I already responded to your comments on your own page, but will add some extra 2 cents here. Years ago I had E.T.W's self titled album from 1989, which didn't hold my attention that much. But I'm not sure if I've heard all their stuff. Maybe they have some later material I would enjoy. Will check it out.

i responded to your other post on my page, but Please listen to E.T.W.'s Yes Lord - Psychothe... Album Version, especially considering what you are going through. It is traditional praise&worship music heard in many African American spirit-filled churches, and this short version will almost certainly touch You deeply. It is under 60 seconds, and definitely worth the time. AMEN

Thanks Gary. So far the only thing I've heard of their "Yes Lord" is on You Tube, only about 30 seconds of it. Is it longer than that? It would have been nice to hear more of it. Unfortunately on Spotify they only have their first album, plus some music from a later compilation.

Will, here is a Spotify link to Psychotheosocioghettopathic:Th, the album Yes, Lord is on. spotify:album:3DTpUR24EVihG4XNMXYhN6........................ And Yes, its only 37 secs, so i find myself playing it consecutive times, or as a prelude to other praise/worship favorites in my Library such as Mississippi Mass Choir's When I rose this Morning. E.T.W. is a bit raw, but their lyrics are spot-on. You might want to also check out The End Times and You're Getting Played (a message to wayward youths), off of this album. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Checked out "You're Getting Played" and "The End Times". It's actually pretty good and enjoyable. I might not be 100 % into it (all the way), but some real talent. Maybe if I listened to the whole album on a Cd I'd get into it even more. Couldn't find that album on Spotify, even with the link you gave. Maybe Spotify has stuff in the U.S. that isn't available in Canada (not sure).

Nice song. I'm not sure if they got their name that way, or if it's just a general reference to Golgotha. Unfortunately, most of the Place of Skulls songs on YouTube are in low quality for some reason, so if you can find them elsewhere it will improve your listening experience I think. But I'm glad that you like the band a little bit, at least! Anyways, I will definitely be listening to more Trouble in the near future.

Okay, cool. Musical tastes change over time, so it's interesting to see how your preference has developed. I've listened to a few Trouble songs, but I definitely need to give them a thorough listen, and I've never heard Avro Part. Maybe you would like the doom band Place of Skulls, it's all clean singing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un2m9Xq-Ki8

Nice. I think that overall my favorite album would have to be Saviour Machine I, although a close second would have to be Legend Part 1. Honestly, all of their albums are great. Some of my favorite songs include Legion, Jesus Christ, American Babylon, The Woman, Ten: The Empire, Behold a Pale Horse, and The End of the Age. Anyway, I haven't found any bands really close to Saviour Machine, unfortunately. I would like to recommend the band Virgin Black and their album "Requiem: Mezzo Forte" if you've never heard them. They have influences from doom, gothic, symphonic, and even death metal. I don't know where you stand on guttural vocals, but there is some growling on the CD, so if you don't like that I completely understand. Like Saviour Machine, Virgin Black is a pretty unique band. Here's one of the songs on the CD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ym2mdyN7X-A

Hi! :) I have to agree, Saviour Machine is a completely underrated band, and Eric Clayton really does have a very powerful and often moving voice. What is your favorite album and/or song(s) by them?

I`m afraid not. It`s all just a matter of waiting for god now mate. You could always celebrate by drinking yourself into oblivion for a year like i did. Or why not celebrate by getting plenty of fresh air and then changing your profile pic. You look a little off colour in the current one ; D. Joking aside. Why not adopt a dog on your special day. They shower you with unconditional love and are far better company than any human being i`ve ever met in life. Hope you have a " Happy Birthday " when the day comes. Cheerio for now mate : )

Henryk Gorecki's "ll Lento e Largo - Tranquillissimo" is a great piece of music. It brought out many different emotions. I was reflective, sad and happy all at once. Thanks Will, I pinched Zbigniew Preisner Radio from you.

You're welcome Will. I'm not sure whether you could connect your TEAC equipment to the computer. If you can, you could try going to Audacity and downloading their free audio conversion software. It can be little difficult to get used to but I use it to do things like, for instance, reducing crackles from tracks I've recorded from vinyl. If I can help at all just give me a shout.

Sorry it took me some time to get back. Thanks for the Black Mountain tip - I'll check them out. You shouldn't need iTunes to scrobble CDs. I use iTunes, but I believe the Windows Media Player will scrobble your CDs. As for vinyl and tapes, I have a USB turntable and tape player (mine are made by ION but there are others on the market). Using the software that comes with them you can convert that music from analog to digital, then you can scrobble your music. The ION software, however, does depend on having iTunes installed but providing you don't object to installing it iTunes does the job well. You don't need an iPod to do any of these things.

Nice of you to drop by. Maybe one day you'll get to see her. I love to. I agree on This Mortal Coil, although I Come And Stand At Every Door must be the most heartbreaking song ever. I've scrobbled from my tapes and the sound's not top quality. I see you've listened to Faded Flowers (which I adore) but I didn't think it was playable. Did you already have Oil & Gold?

Hi Will. Just a hello from England as I pass through the ether. I've been listening to Loreena McKennitt and the Paperboys and thinking what a vibrant music scene Canada has. I'm also a big fan of Godin guitars and have fond memories of the only time I've been to Canada - Vancouver and Vancouver Island many moons ago. Cheers Owen
