Woodfog reunion gig! We are in discussions about a one-off reunion gig playing old favorites like Where Have All the Years Gone, The Knower, Lady of the Storm and Death Grows Inside You. Our lead guitarist, Ray, has had some health issues and this has delayed the reunion and, indeed, Woodfog's new incarnation (with brand new material) as The Take. If Ray decides he is just not up to it we will need to take on a new guitarist to play Ray's parts. Are YOU interested in playing a mix of Classic and Prog Rock? Woodfog were a musical hybrid of the styles of Wishbone Ash, Cream, Black Sabbath. The single Sing Zing is not typical Woodfog material! In the late 70's hundreds of hours of, mostly live, recorded material was lost or stolen. All that remains is a cassette tape of part of a rehearsal. I hope to upload extracts of that performance in the near future. In the meantime, let us wish Ray a speedy and full recovery! Dave Sumeray Bass player with Woodfog.
