Ive heard born to run, born in the usa, nebreaska, darkness... and his recent 2-3 albums throguh family and friends. Just never 'got it'. I always thought his music was to 'pop' for my tastes. The river isnt too bad. Ill keep digging.

Yeah. I read a piece in the Guardian yesterday about the 1ml. young people unemployed, and a good portion were graduates, so I suppose any work is good work in the current climate. I'm in my third year now, yeah, which is terrifying in every respect. What do you think of Arab Strap and their various guises? I'm really starting get into them. Aidan Moffat is quite a brilliant wordsmith, and the music creates interesting moods, even if it can be challenging. They're perhaps I think one of the most overlooked groups of the past 20 yrs...

Aye. Well I will certainly look into them at some point. I also retract my remarks about the latest Waits disc; I heard a few tracks in a record shop this week and I was awfully impressed. It shall be the record that I seek out. How is life coming along at the Busy Bee?
