I never made a journal before (^ ≧^);; so as I planned, I'll use this for my reception of albums, etc.
Today's date is important, because this is the second time I've listened to the album J・A・M by JUDY AND MARY. I knew that I needed to listen to J&M because I know they're popular; maybe I just know this from the るろうに剣心 明治剣客浪漫譚 song.
Regardless, when I first heard this album which I thought I had to listen to. I hated it. I thought it was stupid, and most songs got a http://i31.tinypic.com/nwh5e8.gif or http://i27.tinypic.com/28uh5cl.gif rating. No song got higher than http://i27.tinypic.com/28uh5cl.gif.

I really dislike listening to this /song/. A lot of dialogue or spokenword tracks get this from me. Not that I hate them, I just don't usually want to listen to them if they're not music.

I didn't really like this song, for whatever reason. Boring or annoying sound, dumb lyrics, etc.

This song is okay to listen to, but honestly, I really wouldn't be sad if I had never heard it.

I really really like songs that I give a perfect rating to. These are songs that I think I could listen to repeatedly and be happy. It's kind of rare that I rate a song perfect.

So, for whatever reason, I decided to listen to this album through again, and I found that I really liked it ！ None of the songs got a http://i31.tinypic.com/nwh5e8.gif rating; most got higher.

01 JUDY IS A TANK GIRL
I heard this song again after my first listen, with my music player set to random. I found that I really liked this song, although I can't place my finger on why. It's cute, somewhat catchy as well.
07 彼女の大切なもの
I think I like this song because it reminds me of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The beat is slower, but it's very cute. I think I tagged this one perfect because it's fun to listen to.
08 LOLITA A-GO-GO
This song, I'm not exactly sure why I gave it a perfect rating. Listening to it again, it's not as great as the other songs, and is probably deserving of a 4-star. I think it's the singing. The little 'Yay-yay-yay' is really cute. Almost all of this album is very cute, and the titles are as well.
10 DAYDREAM
Seeing as I actually listen to 香奈 a lot, ／キキキキ I usually like harsh and/or screechy vocals. This song is different from the rest of the album in that the vocals are deeper. The singing is, well, sing-ish; it sounds clear and sweet, and not as quick and nasaly as the rest of the songs. Actually, I'm no singer, so I'm not sure if that's what it is. I do think, though, that this is my favourite song of the album. To me, it just sounds different from the rest. And I like it.
